Hello. My puppy, Liberty will be 2 months on tomorrow, August 21st. This morning, she vomited. It was yellowish in color. She is still the playful little Maltipoo she has always been. She only vomited that one time. Is there anything I should be concerned about? Should I take her to a Vet or just wait until her appointment on Tuesday?

Pets can vomit sometimes. It is very important to watch T for the next 24 hours for any signs of continued illness such as lethargy, continued vomiting, diarrhea or not eating well. If this is seen, have him examined by his veterinarian. If this is related to playing too much or eating too quickly, he should be normal for the rest of the day. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Yes, puppies often eat things they shouldn’t. If she’s otherwise fine, eating and playing, then I’m not overly concerned about some vomiting. If she becomes lethargic, not eating or drinking, and the vomiting continues then bring her right in for an exam and treatment.
