My puppy's vaccines were too early. What should I do? Petco insurance?

Yes they will give all the vaccinations he needs at PetCo. He will need two more sets of booster shots to be fully protected. They will give you a schedule for his booster vaccinations and discuss flea, tick and heartworm products if they are recommended in your area. You can also get a microchip at PetCo. As far as the papers to show his breed ask your friend if they have some from the breeder. You don’t need any papers though to get him examined and vaccinated. Mist vaccine clinics only do vaccines and not exams or provide records past vaccinations. I would recommend that you find an established Vet for Piper. His next vaccines would typically be given 3-4 weeks later, so he's a little overdue. You should call your vet to schedule his next appointment right away. Hope this helps! Hello. Your veterinarian is correct. The first vaccination was done at too young an age to promote immunity. No harm was done & this is a common practice with breeders who vaccinate so early. To promote the best immunity, vaccines are administered at 8, 12 & 16 weeks of age, then again in 1 year. Vaccines should be administered as recommended by your veterinarian after the one year boosters. So yes, Maple should receive one more booster vaccination.
