My 4-month-old puppy hasn't had shots. What vaccinations does he need?

  Hi there! I would recommend getting Radar his first DAPP vaccine (for distemper, parvo, adenovirus, and parainfluenza) and his rabies vaccine as soon as possible once you adopt him. After that, he should just need one more DAPP booster in 3-4 weeks to be "up to date."
  
  At your veterinary appointment, you can also ask if any non-core vaccines would be recommended for him given his lifestyle and the area you live in - things like Bordetella (kennel cough), Lyme disease, or leptospirosis. He should also have a fecal exam for parasites if he hasn't been dewormed recently, as hookworms and roundworms are extremely common in puppies.

  It sounds like this pup is lucky to have found you! With being 4 months old and no history of vaccines what would be recommended at a minumum would be a rabies vaccine (good for 1 year at first vaccine, then can do 3 years after that) and a distemper combination shot, sometimes called a DHPP or DHLPP or a 5-in-1. This vaccine will need a booster 3 to 4 weeks later and then will be good for a year. I also recommend a Bordetella or kennel cough vaccine in most dogs. If you will be boarding her or going places with other dogs, we sometimes recommend an influenza vaccine as well. She should also have a fecal test done and deworming in case of intestinal parasites. The vet she sees can discuss vaccines with you based on her lifestyle as well.
