Can I give my puppy supplements and homemade food with Royal Canin?

Please just used a balanced diet made for puppies. All those supplements are not good for a growing puppy. Those should only be fed as an adult and only if needed. If you feed a well-balanced, high quality diet like Royal Canin he should not need any supplements. Using those in a puppy is asking for trouble. I am assuming you mean Royal Canin for rc? I recommend stopping that immediately unless directed by your Vet. As for the fish oil, that is fine but how often depends on the brand you are using. No, I would not give Milo multi-vitamins of calcium supplements. While puppies do need higher amounts of protein, calcium, and calories than adult dogs, their puppy formulated food will provide that for him. It's never recommend to give puppies multivitamins and extra calcium as that can have detrimental effects on their growth, especially excess calcium. Stop giving Milo this supplements now, and be sure to feed him a high quality large breed puppy formulated food such as Royal Canin.

It is never recommended to give puppies multi vitamins and calcium supplements. This will affect Fang's growth adversely, and it is not needed. A good quality puppy food will provide all the nutrients he needs. I also advise again feeding him Orijen. It's grain free, and vets are seeing a link between dogs developing dilated cardiomyopathy who are on grain free diets. The FDA is now investigating that link. Grain free food is a fad, grains are actually good for dogs. I'd feed him a puppy food from brands such as Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, or Iams. I hope this helps!

Yes, Royal Canin is one of the best diets available and it’s what I feed my own dogs and cats. Get the large breed puppy or the golden retriever puppy diet and feed this until he is 1 year old. Make sure to transition the diet over 1 week to avoid causing GI upset. I hope this helps.

Once Bone is 5-6 weeks old start feeding him a commercial puppy food, like Purina puppy chow. If you are bottle feeding him with a puppy formula you can start mixing that with puppy food now. All commercial puppy foods are nutritionally balance. Over supplementing calcium can cause harm. I hope this helps!
