i am giving royal canin to my puppy.is it necessary to give him supplements like calcium or multivitamin?

Royal Canin is an excellent food company. All the diets are balanced for dogs for the specific stage of life. No additional supplements are needed and you can actually cause harm by adding in extra supplements (especially in a large breed dog). My recommendation is to not add any vitamins/supplement - definitely DO NOT add calcium as you will cause growth problems. Here is an article on this subject. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Yes, Royal Canin is a balanced food that provides all of the nutrients your dog needs, including calcium. Just make sure that you are feeding the appropriate food for his life stage (puppy food if he is less than a year old, adult food otherwise).
