My 9-month-old puppy is pregnant on her first heat. Is it safe?

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | unspayed | 9 months and 3 days old | 30 lbs

My dog is in her first cye and we think she is already pregnant will she survive her pregnancy ? She is 9 months old

While it isn't recommended to breed a dog on their first heat because they won't be physically or emotionally mature, it doesn't mean that Tanya can't survive her first pregnancy. I would wait three weeks from when she mated, and then take her into your vet. The vet can confirm her pregnancy, and discuss with you things you need to look out for during her pregnancy that can signify problems or times when you need to see a vet.     Hello there, if Tanya is pregnant as long as she is in good overall condition there is no reason she cant sustain a healthy pregnancy. I would have a vet confirm her pregnancy then make sure you keep her on a good plane of nutrition. Hopefully she will have no issues giving birth but best to be familiar with your vet just in case.
