My puppy hasn't slept for days. How do I get her to sleep at night?

This can be hard to do. If she is really gassy this could be causing the restlessness. Watch her closely for any accidents, excessive licking at the vulva or any changes in appearance/odor to the urine. This can be very uncomfortable. Of course, continue with lots of exercise. Sounds like you are doing everything right. She just may be one of those anxious dogs just like there are in people where you can't really pinpoint a cause. I hope this helps. Eventually she will learn that it is not ok to do that and will stop waking up at that time to do it. Keep in mind though that she is a puppy and is behaving like a puppy would be expected to. Hello. There is nothing you might have at home that could safely make Pink sleepy. If she is keeping you up at night, you may need to really engage in some serious play time in the evening. You do not indicate how old she is, but if she is still quite young, she will learn to calm down a bit at night. I would try putting Co co in a crate at night. Keep in mind she's quite young, and it will take time for her to adjust to being in a new home away from her mother and siblings. It's truly like having a newborn baby in the home! But the good news is that puppies will get better at sleeping at night faster than babies. If you are comfortable with it, you can have her sleep with you at night in your bed. That might make her feel more comfortable. I hope you get some sleep!

This is okay and normal behavior for a puppy to have bursts of energy at all the wrong times it seems. Her energy will start to settle out and habits become more regular as she gets a little older. Maintain a regular schedule for Biscuit (regular times for eating, potty, etc) and she will adapt gradually to that. Be patient!

You can't do anything to make sure he sleeps, as his own body rhythms will dictate that. You can keep him safe, and out of trouble during the night, by putting him in a crate at bedtime. Introduce him to it gradually. First, put his food right inside the door so he learns to eat there. Step-by-step, move the bowl farther into the crate each time he eats, leaving the door open. When he is comfortable eating inside, close the door, opening it as soon as he finishes eating. Gradually extend the time the door is closed. Do not oen the door if he is whining or trying to get out. Just ignore him, and wait until he is settled before letting him out.
