Why is my puppy not eating, sleeping more, and barking strangely?

Hi, I think Lola is not 100% if she is refusing to eat and just wanting to sit on your lap. I would recommend that you have her checked over as puppies are quite delicate and need to be eating regularly. She could have parasites or just a little temperature for example, it could be something quite simple but obviously that could cause her to feel poorly. Have her seen by your vet so that she can get any necessary treatment. Hope she gets better soon !

My first concern, with the symptoms you are describing and her age, is that she may have parvo - especially if her previous owners did not provide you with any paperwork showing that she had received her full series of vaccines. This is a serious, life-threatening illness that is unfortunately quite common in puppies. Other possible causes of her symptoms could include an intestinal obstruction, a serious infection of some kind, or ingestion of something toxic. Regardless of the underlying cause, these symptoms are serious enough to warrant a trip to the emergency vet tonight. He/she can do some diagnostic testing to help determine the problem and get her started on appropriate treatment right away.

When a pet has some kind of change in behvaior that last for more than a day or two, followed by decreased appetite or some other symptoms, then it could very well be a sign of an underlying illness and you should get her checked by your vet soon. However, if she is just displaying odd behavior and still eating, drinking, urinating, and defecating normally, she likely is just bored. Hello, Gucci could have a number of things causing her symptoms, but she is ill and needs to be seen by a vet ASAP. I would be concerned that she hurt herself somehow. Unfortunately, without a physical examination it is hard to say exactly what is causing her symptoms. I would consider calling your veterinarian if she is still having this issue when you wake up in the morning and having her seen. Thank you for submitting your question regarding Naisha. If she is still exhibiting the symptoms of odd behavior, I recommend thst she sees a veterinarian. She could be painful or starting to develop an illness such as a respiratory tract infection. If the episode has passed, monitor her closely for similar signs. If the symptoms become more frequent, then I would have her evaluated. Puppies are growing and learning so sometimes can display different behaviors without it being problematic. There are many things that could be causing these signs in a younger dog (gastrointestinal disease or parasites, infection, heart worm disease) so I think it's very important you have Lyla examined.
