My indoor puppy needs a Lepto vaccine. When and how many shots?

The first time a pet receives the Lepto vaccination they should get the initial vaccine and then a booster 3 weeks later. After that, then they just get one yearly booster. If the pet received the initial vaccine but did not get the booster 3 weeks later, then essentially you should start over with two vaccines three weeks apart. Hope this clarifies. It is an important bacteria to vaccine against every year, especially if you live in a area where there is an increased risk. I would recommend Oscar get vaccinated against leptospirosis. He will need a series of two vaccines- one initially then a booster in 3-4 weeks. After that, he should be vaccinated against letpo every year. Shyla is so cute! She needs the vaccine, Sherry, the lepto in it isn't dangerous for her. Contracting either lepto or distemper would be extremely dangerous for her. I urge you to have her vaccinated. Best of luck.
