My puppy is sick with fever, not eating, and very weak. What's wrong?

The clinical signs you describe are concerning when they occur in a puppy as they can be seen with serious gastrointestinal infections such as Parvovirus. Other possibilities include intestinal worms and dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. The sooner these conditions are treated the better the outcome tends to be. For this reason, I recommend that you have Kagome evaluated by your veterinarian to check for these possibilities and to start therapy based on findings. Poor Poppy! Anorexia can be a general sign of many illnesses such as parvo, distemper, systemic illness, infection, inflammation, or injury. I'm concerned that she has been out in public with only one shot, and she could have picked up something serious. I would take her into a vet first thing in the morning to get checked out. Knowing that you have seen the worms makes this possibly the reason or a factor contributing to his symptoms. The sooner these conditions are treated the better the outcome tends to be. Poor guy. It sounds like your puppy likely has a severe infection. I would highly recommend getting him seen first thing in the morning at any vet that is open and able. If an ER vet is the only option, then I would highly recommend going there. The vet needs to check your pup for parvovirus. I do hope that your puppy Billy is going to be able to make a full recovery from his illness. Best of luck and take care.

The most likely diseases are as follows: 1. Parvo, a virus that primarily attacks the immune system and intestines of dogs and is very lethal if left without supportive care. 2. Intestinal parasites which can cause intestinal blockage and even anemia (depletion of red blood cells). 3. Other viruses with varying severities. This is not an exhaustive list, just the most common things for a puppy. They will all lead to dehydration and other secondary issues which can all be severe enough to cause death. Whatever the underlying disease, he looks very ill and needs attention from a veterinarian immediately. I would recommend taking him to your nearest emergency veterinary hospital as soon as possible. I am concerned about Tyson feeling so cold. If you have a rectal thermometer, you can take his temperature. Normal is 100-102. If it is low, he should see a vet immediately. Also, you can place a small amount of honey or caro syrup on his gums in case he is hypoglycemic. Other potential causes for his illness include intestinal parasites (even if he was already dewormed once, they are still possible), GI blockage, bacterial or viral infection, food intolerance, among a few other possibilities. Any puppy that is lethargic or has vomiting and/or diarrhea should see a vet if the symptoms last more than 24 hours as they can get dehydrated very quickly.
