My puppy fell. His paw looks out of place and twitches. Is it serious?

IT is quite likely if it is causing her to fall over it may be broken or dislocated. Please arrange an emergency appointment for her and prevent her from walking/falling until you can have her fully assessed to prevent further injury. Keep her fasting from food as a mild sedation may be required for xrays

You want to make sure it is just a sprain, instead of something more serious like a fracture of torn ligament which could affect his growth. I would rest him for now, no running, jumping, or playing. The toe could be broken or dislocated, or it might be a soft tissue injury. The fact that he is limping means that he does have some level of pain even if he's not crying. I would recommend having your vet examine the toe - they might feel confident that it is a soft tissue injury once they are able to feel the toe and the joint or they might recommend an x-ray. They can also prescribe safe pain medication for him.
