3-week-old German Shepherd puppy: feeding & outdoor sleeping age?

we are adopting a german shepherd from our close relatives at 3 weeks old what do i feed him (milk??? and if so what kind) also at what age can i leave him outside to sleep because my mother is allergic to fur (he has his own shletered location thats where he will be staying and being trained)

Pups should not be away from their mother and siblings until at least 8-10weeks of age to ensure they are fully weaned, have received at least one vaccination and have had an appropriate amount of socialisation with their litter mates and mother, early separation increases anxiety and aggression in many cases. HE should be fed a high quality puppy food and fresh water to drink 15-18months to ensure optimal development and to reduce the risk of growth deformities and joint disease. Be sure to deworm him regularly. The age at which he can be left in an outdoor enclosure depends on your local climate - your local vets office would be best placed to advise on local risk factors for both climate, vaccination schedules and parasite prevention (including ticks) - I recommend you call in and have a chat with them before you bring any puppy home

I do not recommend to get a puppy that young. Puppies learn needed socialization skills from their mother and littermates. Without it, they can have problems knowing how to communicate appropriately with other dogs and this can cause a lot of problems. Congratulations on your new puppy! You should feed him 3-4 times a day until he is 4-6 months old. Then he can be fed twice a day. The amount of food to feed him depends on the diet you feed him. Every dog food bag will have instructions on the back and this is a loose guide. You and your veterinarian can adjust the food as needed. Bubba MUST eat a large breed puppy food. The diet I recommend is the Royal Canin German Shepherd Puppy. This diet will allow an even growth and it is highly digestible. German Shepherds can be very sensitive dogs when it comes to food. Cute puppy. At 6 weeks of age this puppy should really already be on canned/dry puppy food. Most pets at this age can no longer properly digest milk replacement formula. I would go ahead and make that transition now over the next 1 week. Top food recommendations are: Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina or Eukanuba. Water requirements for dogs is around 1 ml/kg daily. Free access to water (in a bowl) usually ensures the pet drinks enough water. What should I feed my 40-day-old German Shepherd puppy and how often?

Jordan is so cute! At 40 days of age, he can be started on a puppy formulated food. He needs a puppy food because puppies need higher amounts of protein, calcium, and calories than an adult dog to grow properly. A puppy food will provide this for him. Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. He should be fed three times a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and evening. On his bag of puppy food, there will be a daily recommended allotment of food, and I would divide that into three equal portions.
