So butterscotch is now 5 months old. He was playing with one of his toys and all of a sudden I noticed he was trying to eat his tooth! Is this normal. I have not noticed him losing any teeth yet but I know he has more coming in. He is. It allowing me to see his teeth either! Should I be concerned?

Not at all, teething is normal at this age, your puppy is loosing his puppy teeth and it's fine if he continues chewing on hard things, it will speed up the process. i usually recommend 3 meals until the age of 6 months and 2 meals after that age.
