Why are my 2-month-old puppies eating less and leaving food?

At this age it is expected for your puppy to eat less. Usually between 6-8 months of age puppies have less calorie requirement and will go from needing three meals daily to two meals daily. As long as he is on a good quality, large breed puppy food and is otherwise well, normal growth and a healthy, shiny coat I would not change his diet. The more variety he is offered at this age the more likely he is to develop into a picky eater and refuse foods regularly! Most pups will have a reduction in their appetite as their growth slows, or ha may have picked up a mild infection etc. Monitor over the next 5-7days a schedule a vet check if any further symptoms develop

Try to feed them little and often, but if still being sick they could benefit from an anti sickness injection or medications. They also need to be treated for worms and have their vaccinations ( when they are feeling a bit better ).

As your puppy gets older he will need to eat less frequently so this type of behavior is normal. As long as Mokibis continuing to grow and put on weight like a puppy should I would not be too concerned.

If she is the complete opposite than she was before, there is a good chance that there is a medical explanation for this, but because the symptoms are so general it would be hard to give you a possible diagnosis, the best way would be to take her to the vet for a checkup, she is probably dew to a vaccine anyway real soon.

If his mouth is a little sore, then yes he may not eat as much. This may also come with maturity as they realize they don't have to scarf all their food because it will still be there later. Although, we cannot rule out something else is going on. If his food intake decreases more, he starts losing weight or he becomes lethargic, I would have your vet take a look at him. Your vet can make sure nothing else is causing the decreased appetite and make sure he gets the proper treatment. You can offer him a little canned food if you feel like it is just a sore mouth.
