My puppy is cold, has diarrhea, and is whining in pain. What's wrong?

You should have Snow examined by a vet. Common causes of vomiting and diarrhea in a puppy include dietary intolerance or indiscretion, food allergy, intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, IBD, pancreatitis, among others. After a physical exam and review of her medical history, the vet may do a parvo test, blood work, or x-rays to see what could be the cause.

Constant crying can be a sign of failure to thrive in a puppy. If this is the only puppy with diarrhea it could be a concern as well. I’d recommend having your vet examine the puppy to determine what might be going on. They might recommend medications or this pup may need to be supplemented with a bottle to make sure he is getting enough nutrition.

Oh my, poor Emma sounds quite ill! She could have gotten into something toxic, may have eaten something rotten, or could have a severe GI illness among other causes. Oh no, it's not good that Ellie is so constipated! It could be she has such a heavy burden of worms it's causing the constipation despite the deworming treatment. It is concerning that she hasn't pooped for two days and she is crying when she tries to go to the toilet. In such a young puppy, this is something that needs to be treated now by a vet. She may need a laxative or an enema to help her pass feces, which should only be given by a vet. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. Unfortunately it's difficult to answer your question without knowing what type of animal Emma is. If Emma is a dog this does not sound typical for a heat cycle and sounds more like she could have a gastrointestinal disease. Poor precious. Make sure she is eating about 5-6 small meals a day to help keep her blood sugar up. Since she is having vomiting and diarrhea I would really concerned about her getting dehydrated and weak. She could have something serious going on like parvo virus or a lot of intestinal parasites. I would strongly recommend to get her in to see your vet as soon as possible so they can test her for parvo and worms. They will be able to make sure she has the appropriate medicine to make her feel better and make sure she isn't getting dehydrated.
