It is not likely unless you know he was exposed to rabies. Puppies will bite and chew when they are teething which is probably the case here. Provide chew toys and teach him what is appropriate to chew on and what isn't. If it is a serious bite, see your own physician for an exam and treatment if necessary.

If your puppy comes from a reputable breeder, ie is not a street dog and has not been in contact with street dogs, then there is little chance that your puppy has rabies. If your puppy comes from a street dog litter or had contact with street dogs, then I think your father needs to check with a doctor whether he should have the rabies vaccination and how many (the regular 3 or 5 injections within a week).

You should always be worried about the rabies virus in any dog that bites you. At 2 months old he is not likely to have been given the anti-rabies vaccine. You need to find out what vaccinations he received 10 days ago and then you need to consult with a human doctor about what you should do for yourself. We cannot give human medical advice.

If you were bitten by your pup, you should see your own physician. We are legally prohibited from providing any advice regarding human medical issues.
The pup, likely does not have rabies and bit simply because he was being a puppy, not due to illness.
