Why is my piglet vomiting poop? Is it from eating dog waste or sick?

Vomiting and diarrhea can be caused by many conditions primarily gastrointestinal in nature such gastroenteritis and gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction or other conditions such as pancreatitis or kidney disease. I recommend that you have your pup evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Likely diagnostics to be performed include abdominal imaging and general bloodwork. You could try a bland diet composed mainly of boiled chicken and white rice which is easily digestible and can help with an upset stomach. Good luck and have a great day!

I am very concerned about Pilly, it sounds like he has a very upset stomach! My top concern would be a blockage in his intestines caused by something that he ate, like a toy, bone, sock, trash, etc. This would also prevent food from moving through his system and turning into feces. Other possibilities include bacterial or viral infection, intestinal parasites, or other internal issue. I recommend that Pilly see a vet as soon as possible. Your vet will probably recommend x-rays and maybe even blood work depending on what they discover during the physical exam.

Vomiting, diarrhea and lethargy are quite concerning in any dog, especially puppies because of the diseases they can get such as parvovirus. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment. They would be able to check for this disease as well as checking for other possibilities such as intestinal worms or other infections. The sooner these diseases are diagnosed the better the outcome tends to be. At the very least, Gus can be started on anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea medications and his hydration status can be checked. I recommend having him seen by a vet as soon as possible - especially because he is having trouble urinating, which can result in build up of toxins in the body normally filtered by the kidneys. Hi, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is difficult to say whether Tucker's lethargy is due to illness or from the vaccine. When puppies his age are lethargic, have vomiting, and/or are having diarrhea, I always worry about the possibility they have parvo. Since Tucker has two of the three, I would highly recommend having him examined by a veterinarian and having a parvo test run as well as a fecal examination as soon as possible. The parasites could also be the culprit, but even if he doesn't have parvo, it is better to check and know for sure. Additionally, this will give the doctor a chance to give Tucker some supportive care, if needed, to help him through his illness. Hope this helps!

Many dogs eat feces, it's a common behavior. It could be eating feces has made Oliver sick. Since he vomited, I'm going to give you a home remedy to see if that helps him. Withhold food for 12 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.

Vomiting is a very common symptom in animals and can be caused by something going on with the GI tract or any other organ system. If the tubular structure is grass it is possible he vomited that up after eating a large amount of it or if he previously ate something and defecated it out. Sometimes pets can vomit after straining to defecate as well. One of the main concerns with vomiting in animals is foreign body obstruction, which can be an emergency. The character of that vomit is concerning. The best plan would be for him to see your vet for an exam. Bloodwork to rule out extra GI causes and xrays are likely to be recommended as the first steps.
