My old dog has a jaw tremor for weeks. What could be causing it?

Some dogs will have focal seizures known as 'chewing gum' seizures where the mouth will tremble or they will make chewing motions. Chattering can be due to stress, excitement or pain. Check the room temperature in case he is cold. Look in his mouth, if he allows, for signs of periodontal disease.
