Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | 2 years and 9 months old | 18 lbs
Hello doctor My pomerian gave birth to 6pups(25/10/2018)which old a day in that one puppy is not drinking milk from mother, so what should I do for this,for this please give any suggestion to survive by any medicine and presently am giving her ORS and multiple vitamin drops but not recovering, yesterday she was good and drank milk from mother only today she doing like this,my veterinarian said that there is no medicine will reflect to puppy till 15days.so say another ways Kindly please help me

I would recommend that you have the puppy examined by a vet for any possible congenital defects that are causing her to be different than the other puppies. If she won't nurse, then you can attempt bottle feeding with puppy milk replacer. If she won't bottle feed, you will need a vet to show you how to tube feed her.

Hi there! There are several milk replacement formulas in the market that even though they are not as good as the puppy's mother's milk, they still provide an adequate nutrition to the puppy. There are several good brands you can get from your local pet store. Good luck!
