Is there a natural food that is a repellent to tick? I make all natural pet treats and a customer is inquiring

There is no scientifically proven food that repels ticks. Some people claim garlic is a natural tick repellent, but garlic is toxic to dogs and should never be given to them. Given the serious diseases that can be passed from ticks to dogs, I would recommend using a scientifically proven tick repellent, such as Revolution or Frontline.
