My dog takes forever to poop on walks. How to make her go faster?

It's possible that it may be an issue of timing - many dogs are very regular in their bathroom habits, and she may prefer to do her business in the evening. If you think that she really does have a preference (some dogs do!), then if your boyfriend is willing he can try taking her on a long walk around the time she usually likes to poop. When she finally goes (which she very likely will, if he walks her long enough), he should praise and reward her with a treat. Have him do this for the next few nights if possible. Once she is comfortable pottying with him as well as you, it shouldn't matter who takes her out :)

Take him for a walk only in the areas you want. If it is painful for him he will go when needed and not hold it in. If it helps, sometimes you can collect his BM from where he went and place it in the garden and have him sniff that to start associating the two things together.

Put him on a leash and take him outside to his designated spot. Do not walk around. Just stand there and repeat "go outside" or a similar phrase. As soon as he starts to go, repeat "go outside" and praise "good dog!" as he goes. When he is finished, or if it appears that he is not going to go, bring him inside but do not remove the leash, e3ven if he has done his business. Attach it to your belt loop and keep him with you. Don’t let him out of your sight! When you see him start to circle or sniff, take him right outdoors again and repeat the process. If he does mess in the house, do not scold him unless you actually catch him in the act. In that case, say "NO!" and take him right outside. Tell him to "go outside" and praise as he finishes. Choose one area outside and use that for elimination. Do not leave Coco unsupervised indoors. He should be crated or on a leash attached to your hip. Monitor for his cues that he needs to go out. This may include circling, whining or sniffing about. Take him outside immediately to the chosen area and wait. No walks, no playing, just wait. Once he does his business, praise and reward him. You can also use attractant sprays to get hom to go in the chosen spot. Be consistent. At his age though, expect "accidents".

Unfortunately, getting your dog to the use the bathroom in one very specific spot is not gong to be easy if it has run of a large area. Generally speaking, dogs natural behavior is to sniff and search for a spot that they see as suitable to mark their territory. They seldom utilize the same spot multiple times unless they see a reason to do so. That being said, if you can provide some sort of reward for your dog for using the spot that you had in mind, this might up your chances for success with Coco. The other option would be confining Coco to a smaller area until she is using the spot that you'd prefer. Once she is using this spot with some regularity, try expanding her freedom in small amounts day by day. Hope this makes sense.

It's very common for males to urinate quickly when they're taken outside, since they have a higher behavioral drive to urine mark on things. Females are often more picky about finding a spot! :) To help with this problem, I would recommend carrying treats in your pocket so that you can reward your female dog immediately as soon as she pees outside - once she learns that this will earn a treat, she should be much more motivated to pee quickly when you take her out. This is how we normally teach puppies to potty on cue outside, but it works equally well for adult dogs.

You can try training Harley to urinate on command. When you take her for a walk bring some high-value treats. Pick a command to use. Once she starts urinating, give her the command and reward her with the high-value treats. Make sure to do this consistently every single time. Some dogs can be trained in this fashion so that when you give the command to urinate, they do. Dogs are individuals however and some will take to this and some will not. Otherwise it may not be realistic that you can expect her to potty outside right away. If she is urinating in the house, when you take her outside and she does not go after 15 minutes, carry her back to her crate and put her in the crate for 30 minutes. Then carry her back outside for another 15 minutes. You repeat this until she potties outside. Praise and reward her and then she can have freedom in the house. Most pets will catch on to this quickly.
