My Labrador puppy has one ear up and one ear down. Can I fix it?

Hi doc I got a lab puppy around 5 months back....he had floppy ears then....when he ws 4 months his ears went erect....but with time one of the ear fell down....and now he has one ear erect...how can i help that? Regards

Your pet has a cartilage defect, this cannot be helped unfortunately. Cartilage cannot be bent or repaired like bone, because of how it is made. However there is no real danger to your pet as this is purely cosmetic, so I would not be too concerned about it. You will just have to accept that your pet has a cosmetic difference that gives him character and love him all the same.
