Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 1 month old
My Labrador puppy is 1 month old. It's only eating Cerelac and nothing else. I also purchased Royal canin puppy food, but it's not eating. What would you advice for this puppy?

He needs to be fed a wet puppy food from a reputable manufacturer, I would feed puppy food from Iams, Hills or Royal Canine. I would also supplement cerelac and slowly get your puppy used to the solid food. That means you give a small amount of puppy food first and then increase that every day and at the same time decrease the cerelac.

It's time to start weaning Pepper onto puppy food. I recommend Royal Canin. To help her wean and to get used to dry food, I would soak a high quality puppy formulated dry food in warm water until soft. Then mix that with puppy formula such as KMR to make a mush the consistency of oatmeal. Over the next two weeks, gradually increase the amount of dry puppy food and decrease the amount of water and KMR you use until she is eating the dry puppy food only.

You can now start offering small amounts of tinned puppy food. and replace one of the cerelac meals with puppy food. slowly replace the milk with puppy food over the next two weeks, a little at a time. Use good quality puppy food.
