What breed is my puppy? Can you tell from pictures or DNA test?

Your puppy does look like it could be a chihuahua, but it's absolutely impossible for me to say if it is purebred or not just by looking at a picture. Your puppy is very cute! It is important to remember that visual identification is inaccurate 75% of the time. However if I had to guess, I think there is some pitbull terrier in your pup. It is likely that your pup is a mix of several different breeds. It is also possible that boxer or Boston terrier is present in the heritage. I recommend to speak with your veterinarian if genetic testing is available in your area. That is the most accurate way to know the heritage.

It’s difficult to say for sure but it looks like he may be part rat terrier or jack Russell terrier or some other type of terrier with pointed ears. He is really cute! Unfortunately there is no way to know for sure. You can do a DNA test but it isn’t 100% accurate and I did it on my dog just for fun.

Whatever he is, he is adorable. My best guess would be spaniel and possibly pomeranian. If you're really curious, there are DNA tests available to determine genetically what breeds your dog is, but honestly to me it wouldn't matter. Regardless of his breed, Bruno is adorable! :-) From the photos, he does not appear to be a purebred Pomeranian to me. My best guess would be a Pomeranian-Corgi-Jack Russell terrier mix. If you want to determine his breed with more precision, you can look into a DNA test, such as a Wisdom Panel.
