Best grain-free, high-protein dog food for sensitive skin & stomach?

I like Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin & Stomach. I have had many clients rave at how good it is for dogs with sensitive skin. Grains are very rarely the cause of any skin issues so switching Kyya to a normal, grain containing diet is recommended. Keep in mind that the link is not understood but as long as the pet is not showing signs of heart disease, changing the diet will help avoid any heart pathology. The brand I like best is Royal Canin. I was stay away from grain free until they figure out the links between it and heart disease in dogs. If Kona has a sensitive stomach I highly suggest Purina Sensitive Skin and Stomach. The various sensitive skin formulas on Royal Canin's website all are listed to include grains. Royal Canin diets have not been known to correlate with the development of DCM in dogs, so I would not worry about this too much. If this diet is too expensive, consider discussing alternative options with your vet. A novel protein diet may be a reasonable option but it is hard to recommend a diet without knowing what the cause of your dog's allergies are. Dogs who eat this diet typically produce good quality stool and low quantity stool which means that the diet does not have a lot of filler.
