My French Bulldog has sores on his belly and private parts. What is it?

Those spots on Koby could be several things including fleas, allergies, skin mites, bacterial infection, ringworm (which humans can get) or endocrine disease. There are a couple things you can do at home and they can help but they may not address the underlying cause. You can try adding in an omega 3 fatty acid supplement for dogs, this can help improve the skin health. You may also try changing his diet to something like Royal Canin or Nutro as they are aimed at skin health. You can wash the lesions once a day (not his whole body, just the lesions). Also protect the area from trauma by having your pup wear an elizabethan collar at all times. This is very likely to be a scrotal dermatitis. It could be cause by a contact allergy or irritation or by a infective agent (bacteria, fungal). I strongly recommend to avoid any licking, chewing or scratching of the area (Gizmo would probably need a buster collar) otherwise the inflammation wan't disappear. You could bath the area with some diluted hibiscrub once a day for 3 days but if the problem persist a check up with the vet and prescription meds might be needed. That doesn't appear to be ringworm. It could be a bacterial skin infection. Given that he has allergies, this makes bacterial infection more likely. You would need to have this confirmed by your veterinarian. Treatment may be systemic antibiotics, topical treatment or a combination of both. Getting the allergies under control would probably help as well. Discuss allergy testing, hydrolyzed diets, food elimination trials and antihistamine use with your vet.

Make sure that this is not from urine getting into that part of the skin and if it is, have him evaluated by a veterinarian. You can try to use a medicated shampoo containing chlorhexidine twice weekly for 2 weeks. Bulldogs are notorious from having many different types of skin issues, and early treatment may limit some of their severity.
