My French Bulldog has small bumps on legs and groin. What's wrong?

It really comes down to figuring out what is causing his allergies so that they can be treated or the specific allergen avoided. A secondary infection is likely and also needs to be addressed. There are medications such as Apoquel or prednisone which may help with the itch. 

 There are many things that can cause allergies though in most cases they can be broken down into 3 big categories: flea, food and environmental allergies. 

Allergies are usually worked up in a stepwise fashion starting with flea allergies as this is the easiest and cheapest to take care of. If not on a flea preventative, then it would be a good idea to get started on one. If already on one then it would be a good idea to change to something else (there are many new products out in the market). 

If not improved in 1-3 months then it is time to move on and check for food allergies by switching to a novel diet (new protein and new carbohydrate). If that does not seem to be the issue then you are left out having to check for environmental allergies which require blood and/or skin tests.

 Allergies can be very frustrating to deal with at first but so rewarding at the end when we are able to treat them effectively!

This is probably caused by an allergic reaction. first of all make sure you de-flea Biscuits regularly every month with a high quality spot on (ex. Advantage) as fleas are by far the most common reason for these reactions. If the fleas are not the problem, it could be an allergic reaction to food or an environmental factor. this is more complicated to treat and will sometimes require medications such as Steroids, anti histamines or apoquel in order to stop the allergy.

It looks like Banjo has a skin infection. These are usually bacterial in nature, but sometimes it can be from a fungus or yeast. Banjo should see a veterinarian for an exam and treatment. These kind of problems happen to some puppies and they often go away once the puppy gets older. You could try and use antibiotic cream or ointment on the skin for 7-10 days - it will likely help. However, the skin problem may come back a few weeks later.

It could be local infection, bacterial or fungal. Ideally, she should be examined by your veterinarian to diagnose and treat any infection. Keep the area clean and dry. Use a protective shirt to prevent excessive scratching.

Any suspicious lumps should be examined by the vet. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the lump to get a sample of its cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. Once the cause of the lump is diagnosed, the vet can discuss treatment options if needed. Such a small, solid and not painful skin lumps are often seen in puppies and young dogs. Stella may have a local skin infection, post-sting or bite reaction or allergy but it is impossible to know what it is without seeing and examining your dog. I would recommed you to take Stella to your vet for clinical examination and to make sure that the lump is not going to cause any problems to her.
