When to feed my large dog on an 8-hour flight to avoid issues?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 3 months old | 80 lbs

Hi im currently flying with my pet. He will be next to me the whole time but wondering about the feeding. My flight takes off at 3 pm snd i land at 11 pm. I dont know when to feed my dog and also dont want to starve him. Can you please reccomend when should I feed him. Hes a 83 pounds. I just feel bad not feeding him and dont want him having stomach issues

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Orcan. It would be fine to give him a small meal about an hour before his flight. Then be sure to walk him so he has an opportunity to defecate if necessary. Then you can feed him the remainder of his dinner after the flight. A dog his size can easily be fasted 12-24 hours. So you flight time will be fine for him. Be sure to provide him with water. I hope this information helps!
