Vet says no to Royal Canin daily. Farmina or RC for my dog?

I've always had the best luck with Royal Canin and Science Diet. Not familiar with Earthborn, but that does not mean it isn't a good food choice. I have the most experience with Royal Canin between the two so I would recommend going with this brand. If Soska has problems on Royal Canin, then transition to a different food such as Earthborn. I don't have specific familiarity with N &D, but I know Royal Canin has a veterinarian on staff and is providing appropriate oversight for the food. I would recommend calling N & D to see if they have a board-certified veterinary nutritionist on staff - if they don't, stick with Royal Canin.

I am so glad to help you! In my opinion, the best choice is a commercial kibble like Royal Canin. Royal Canin does have veterinary nutritionists on staff. I'd also recommend Hill's Science Diet, Purina Pro Plan, and Iams. They also have veterinary nutritionists. I personally feed my dog Iams.

Honestly, both are great foods! The companies run feeding trials and employ veterinary nutritionists on staff to make sure the food is balanced correctly. I personally feed my own dogs Iams, but you could feed Chloe either. Best of luck.

Both brands offer very well balanced diets that have gone through extensive research. Hello. First, Hill's Science Diet & Royal Canin are two of the most respected dog nutritional companies in the world. They have the veterinary scientists & research dollars to innovate, create & stand behind their products that are used to help fight disease & metabolic problems in our pets. If all you are interested in is basic nutrition, then all the other pet food manufacturers are more than adequate, as long as they have the AAFCO statement on their label. Thank you for submitting your question regarding Goku. I recommend Royal Canin. It is a large company with veterinarians on staff. They do extensive research on their diets. They are also able to perform feeding trials in real dogs. This provides much more accurate information on a diet's performance as compared to laboratory analysis. I hope this information helps!
