Should my emaciated dog with kidney issues wear a sweater indoors?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered

Hes a skinny dog all year from gerd but hes recovering from kidney issues so hes emaciated from starving himself for 3 weeks (he went to the vet for his kidney issues) im just asking since hes skin and bones with very short hair is the 50s and 60s too cold for him indoors we have no heater should we get him a sweater

I would definitely consider getting him a sweater. He can’t insulate himself normally like a healthier dog would be able to. Poor guy. If you can keep the temperate around 70 degrees. Best of luck with Dexter and managing his kidney disease. Take care.
