My dog's yeast infection is spreading and itching. What to do?

Earlier there was and yeast infection in bruno rear left hind leg b/w paws it's slight still there but it now also starting in left front leg beside finger so is it some infection inside the body or what ? He on his front legs starts itching scratching continuously which causes this and i stop fluconazole course so shall I continue again or what infection is this inside body or what ?

If you stopped the Fluconazole course before you were supposed to, then that would be why the yeast infection spread from his paw to his leg. It's never recommended to stop a course of treatment unless told to do so by your vet. I would take Bruno back into your vet today for an exam, the vet can advise if they want you to continue on the Fluconazole.

Itching in dogs can be causing by fleas, mites, or allergies. If he isn't up to date on his flea treatment, you will need to give him a spot on treatment such as Advantage or Revolution, and you will have to disinfect the environment. Should he be up to date on his flea treatment, I would have the vet examine and test him for mites (skin scrapings) and allergies (blood tests) when you see him for the yeast infection.

    This is probably due to an allergy, although it could also be infection or mites.
    First of all, in order to rule out skin parasites, you will need to treat with a high quality flea treatment (advocate or advantage), then ask the vet to perform a skin scrape - this might reveal an infection or a mite infestation.
    If all of those came back negative, the next step is to treat the allergy symptomatically and try to discover the cause of the allergy.
    Three main type of allergies are usually affecting pets: food allergies, flea and parasite related ones and environmental type (allergens coming from trees, pollens, dust etc etc).
    Some medications can be given by the vet in order to repair the skin lesions (steroids and antibiotics).

Only your vet can make the decision if it is acceptable or not to use Fluconazole with cetrizine with Bruno. Cetrizine is an antihistamine which is primarily used in humans, so it would be considered off label use in dogs. Because of this, only a vet who has a client patient relationship can safe if it is okay to use in a particular animal, and that is impossible to achieve this relationship via an internet forum. I recommend taking Bruno into the vet to discuss the use of these drugs together.

What ointment cures dog ringworm and yeast infection on paws fast?
For ringworm you need either Conofite lotion (Miconazole), or a similar anti fungal cream +/- an oral antifungal (i.e. Fluconazole or Ketoconazole). Ringworm can take 2-4 weeks to cure in most cases. Also shaving the hair around the lesions helps prevent further spread. It is also advised to was all of Bruno's bedding in really hot water to eliminate any fungal spores the environment that could re-infect him.

Secondly, the common meds used to treat yeast infections in dogs include miconazole, itraconazole, and ketoconazole, which can only be prescribed by your vet. Finally, there are other causes for itching and redding skin in paws, such as allergies, and the underlying cause of this behavior needs to be diagnosed in order to be treated correct. If you are concerned that Bruno has a yeast infection, I would take him into the vet for an exam to confirm that he does have one, and the vet can prescribe an appropriate treatment for him.

My dog's fungal infection is bleeding after lotion. What to do?
Many yeast and or fungal infections can take a while to improve. Veterinarians often start with topical therapy and often that is all that is needed. However, if the area is larger, not improving, bleeding, or otherwise seems worse than sometimes oral anti fungal medications and sometimes a cone to keep them from licking are important nest steps. It could be food related, environmental allergens, or even an allergic reaction to mites or mosquitos. Could yeast cause my Dachshund's black splotches and constant itching?
That does not look like a typical yeast infection, but your vet can do some simple skin tests to tell you for sure. Unfortunately, sometimes dogs have allergies that result in itching without any secondary infection and the only thing that helps are medication for the itching. There are some over the counter medications like Benadryl (https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/benadryl/) that you can try, but the prescription medications work much better. I would recommend having your vet examine Chelsea, decide if she has a secondary yeast infection that needs treatment (which could be topical or oral medication), then decide on a treatment plan for her itching.
