My dog won't eat his kibble after vomiting. Is he afraid of it?

That is a tough call. If he vomited, he may have an underlying gastrointestinal disease that needs to be addressed. If the vomiting continues and he becomes a "picky" eater, I would encourage you to follow up with his veterinarian for an evaluation.

Since Cooper is a young puppy and according to this he keeps vomiting so it is not a single episode in addition he is not eating, In this case I would be more concern then an adult dog as young animals are more prone to dehydration. I would recommend to contact your vet to examine cooper and start supportive treatment to help stop the vomiting sooner then later.

I would with hold food for 12 hours then start a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice for 2 days. If he eats it well and doesn't vomit then put him back on the original food. If you really want him on this new food mix it with the old food and slowly transition him to the new diet. If he won't eat and continues to vomit he should see a Vet. It is possible that hard food is causing discomfort in the mouth if he has an infected tooth or an object lodged in between his teeth. It is also possible that the Whole Hearted is making him nauseous due to a dietary indiscretion. I would recommend putting Ceasar on a food such as Science Diet or Royal Canin and see how he does on a different food. If he continues to throw up then I would recommend having a veterinarian examine him so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps! Keep him on boiled rice and chicken for 2-3 days, it might still be related to the anesthesia he went through, if it doesn't resolve in 3 days, take him back to the vet to get it checked and treated.

It sounds as Molu is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
