What are these white bumps on my dog's face and neck that reappear?

Thanks for posting, and great pictures. I agree, this definitely looks consistent with a bacterial infection. When you see your veterinarian Saturday they will confirm and likely prescribe oral and topical medications to help resolve the bumps. In the meantime, I would not pop the bumps. This looks like some type of skin infection, possibly a fungal or bacterial infection, if it doesn't seem to go away on it's own i would recommend having it checked by your vet as it might nee to be treated with a local ointment.

This definitely looks like a skin infection and pretty deep. Unfortunately, topical over the counter medications are probably not going to be enough to clear this up. Dozer will need to see your veterinarian to get the right prescription antibiotic to treat this properly.

This looks like areas of infection. Dogs often get this from rooting in the dirt. Since these are close to the eyes and nose I'd be careful about cleaning them or putting any medication on them. Personally I'd take him in for an exam to make sure this is a skin infection and get oral antibiotics to treat this. You can use a warm damp cloth to clean them. If he's rubbing them you can give him Benadryl. There is a section on this website with information and dosages of common over the counter medications. If the medications you used don't help within 24 hours, I recommend seeing a vet for oral antibiotics. Also, if that's his neck make sure to clean his collar too. Good luck and kisses to Murphy!

This appears to be a pustule (pus-filled bump), which indicates that Sebastian has a pyoderma (bacterial skin infection). You can help remove these and keep them from coming back by cleaning the area with a medicated shampoo (can find this at the pet store) daily. Clean the area for at-least ten minutes at a time using warm water and a cloth. Wipe the skin gently, but do not scrub. Don't be surprised if some of these lesions pop - this is perfectly fine. Continue the daily cleaning until you don't see these bumps anymore. If it's not getting better within two weeks, then it's best to take Sebastian to the vet. He may need stronger medication to clear this problem and they can also ensure that his overall health is OK. I hope that helps and Sebastian gets better soon.

It could be a pyoderma (skin infection). See your veterinarian for an exam. He or she may diagnose bacterial or fungal skin infection and can prescribe the appropriate medication afterwards. Treatment may be topical, systemic or a combination. Consider adding an essential fatty acid supplement, such as DermCaps or EicosaCaps, to her diet to promote healthy skin and coat. Place an e-collar (cone) on your dog if she is licking or chewing excessively.
