I would recommend baseline bloodwork as well as a specific gastrointestinal panel that tests cobalamin, folate, TLI and PLI. She will also likely need an abdominal ultrasound. This is looking for signs of chronic GI disease such as pancreatitis, pancreatic insufficiency, inflammatory bowel disease or a protein losing disease called lymphangestasia. Lastly, I would consider a diet trial with a prescription hydrolyzed diet to rule out a food allergy. This sounds very concerning and obviously Paris has a painful stomach. Since she is an intact female there is always a chance that she has a uterine infection which would need urgent surgery, ie her uterus would need to be removed. A uterine infection can be lethal. If she is also drinking more water than usual, if there is maybe some discharge from her vulva, this would be pointing to a uterine infection (pyometra). She could also be suffering from serious intestinal parasite infection, pancreatitis, liver disease and ascites. All these conditions are serious and your dog needs to be seen by a veterinary doctor. Unfortunately it is not possible to make a diagnosis just on the basis of "hard stomach". Paris will need a "hands-on exam".

Hello. I am sorry that Daizee isn't feeling well. If she is vomiting and having diarrhoea, and bloodwork and radiographs were normal, this typically means she either has gastritis or pancreatitis. Both of these conditions would result in normal blood and x-rays, but cause the diseases that you are seeing. Often-times these animals need to be in hospital, on IV fluids and stronger pain meds then can be sent home. They often also need multiple medications to protect the gut, and if she is vomiting she can only get these by IV, which means she needs to be in hospital. I would recommend a visit to a 24 hour or emergency clinic if your clinic isn't open, or go back to your vet and discuss if Daizee needs IV fluids and IV medications. Good luck with Daizee!
