My dog is vomiting yellow liquid and froth for 2 days. What's wrong?

I hate to hear that Bruno is sick. While infection is possible, other causes such as an intestinal blockage or pancreatitis (to name a few) could also cause the vomiting. When pets don't respond to treatment as expected, it can mean that the real cause of the illness has not been identified. I recommend to call your veterinarian and tell them what is happening. Hello. There any many things that could be going on with Elvis. He ciuld have something stuck in his stomach bouncing around that is intermittently causing a blockage and vomiting. An x ray or ultrasound would gelp determine this. Elvis could also have a food allergy so trying a different good could help. Try a good quality food. He could have a problem with his pancrease( inflammation or insufficiency), blood tests would show this, or he could have a motility disorder in which biopsies would be needed. If he is otherwise bright and happy and eating, try switching his food and avoid bones, raw food or table scraps and see of that works. If not or if Elvis seems sick otherwise then get xrays and bloodwork done with your vet. Good luck with him!

It sounds as Dexter is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Poor Alfalfa! I'm sorry to hear that he isn't feeling well. There are quite a few different things that could cause vomiting like this. He may have a GI problem such as pancreatitis or an intestinal obstruction; a systemic illness like liver or kidney disease; or may have gotten into something toxic. My usual rule of thumb for vomiting is that if it continues for more than 24 hours, a vet visit is needed - even if he is acting normal otherwise. A mild upset stomach should resolve itself within a day or so, so if he has been vomiting for the past three days, I would be concerned that something more serious may be wrong. I would recommend taking Alfalfa to the vet for an exam as soon as you are able to - he/she can do blood work and x-rays to help diagnose the problem and get him started on appropriate treatment.

Yellow vomit is termed "bile" and this is seen when the pet has an empty upset stomach. Sneezing can also be a sign of mild allergies or nasal parasites (not as common). If J.R. continues to vomit for more than 12-24 hrs and also has other signs of sickness (i.e. lack of energy, not holding down any food, lack of appetite), then it is best to get J.R. seen by your veterinarian for strong medical treatment and good physical exam. However if J.R. is still relatively active, happy and playful, you can try withholding food for 12-24 hrs then feeding him a bland diet of plain boiled chicken and rice or cottage cheese OR Purina EN Gastrointestinal. Hopefully this is enough to settle his stomach and get him back to normal.

Poor Milo. It could be a number things causing this including a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, pancreatitis, or an illness like kidney disease. First, I would ensure that there was nothing out of the ordinary Jasper could have gotten into (like people food or treats) as that could upset his tummy. If he recovered from this episode uneventfully you could keep an eye on him for the next few hours and see how he does. If there's more vomiting, disorientation or seizure like behavior (like trembling or convulsions) I would take him in to see your vet.
