My dog is sick, vomiting, has red poop, no appetite. Is it blood?

Vomiting blood is serious. The GI upset could be due to many conditions including eating something she shouldn't have, bacterial over growth, parasites (worms and giardia), poison, a bleeding disorder, pancreatitis, cancer or intestinal blockage. I recommend to have your pup examined by the veterinarian today. Try to remember to take in a stool sample. The doctor will check her for parasites and bacterial over growth and other diagnostics may be recommended as well. She needs the correct diagnosis in order to receive appropriate care. If Sky has vomiting and diarrhea she needs to see a vet. Unfortunately her symptoms are very vague and could be from any illness or disease process. If Sky is a puppy I would be very worried about parvovirus. If she is an adult my first guess would be hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Either way, she needs to see a vet. Please take her as soon as possible.

It sounds as Mila is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet urgently, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

It is possible that the vomit has blood in it, though I would not expect it to have flecks in it. It is possible that Koda ate something that was red/pink in color that made his vomit this color. However, even the possibility of blood in vomit is cause for concern as this can be caused by stomach ulcers, foreign bodies, or certain toxins. I recommend keeping a very close eye on Koda, and having her examined immediately if this happens again or your believe you are seeing something that looks like frank blood or dark coffee grounds in her vomit. She should also be seen immediately if you think there is a chance that she may have eaten something she shouldn't have or has gotten into human medications. Until she can be seen by a vet tomorrow, I recommend not giving her any food and only offering small amounts of water. There are emergency clinics in most cities that are open 24 hours. Bright red blood in the feces is not normal, and could be caused by hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, a foreign body, eating something rotten, or cancer. Given Cody's age and the fact that he was vomiting previously, it would be best for him to see an emergency vet in my opinion.

Generally, a severe infection or toxin ingestion. If it's a puppy, then I would be most worried about parvovirus. Either way, it's an emergency and not something you would be able to deal with at home. It's best to get Tigger to a vet ASAP, because she can quickly lose a lot of blood and become dehydrated with this condition.

I would keep an eye on him, and even offer a bland meal of boiled rice and chicken to see if it helps if his symptoms have only been minor/happened once or twice. Reddish blood in the stool can indicate irritation of the lower GI tract, or even issues such as parasites. If Sparrow continues to have bloody stool, diarrhea, vomits more, is very lethargic or painful, or refuses to eat anything, it would be best to bring him into a vet for a complete workup.
