My dog has a bleeding wound on his face. Should I take him to the vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 5 months old

My dog ha this on the side of he's face it was bleeding I'm not sure how he done it or what it is please help I've cleaned it with warm water and cotton wool should i take him to the vets

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Based on the pictures it appears that Rocco may have either an open wound or a growth of some kind that has started oozing. I would recommend he be evaluated by his regular veterinarian to determine if he needs stitches, etc based on what the underlying cause for his lesion is and to start any treatment (antibiotics, anti-inflammatory) that may be needed.
