My pitbull is throwing up, drinking, and peeing a lot. What's wrong?

If she is having difficulty urinating, I would recommend having her examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. For that reason, I recommend that you have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They can then decide what would be best after evaluating her. Best of luck!

Unfortunately there's not a lot of advice I can give you other than to take Savage in to see her vet ASAP. After 4 days of being abnormal, I don't think this is something that is just going to pass, and if she is in fact having seizures you are risking her life by not seeking care. You've described several very concerning signs - breathing difficulties, seizures, bloody diarrhea, and vomiting- and she needs to be seen and have some diagnostics - blood work, possibly x-rays, and a good physical exam - to try to figure out what is going on and how to help her.

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Although Mya is still eating, drinking, and having normal bathroom habits, the shaking and lethargy is a concern. Shaking can sometimes be an indication of pain or discomfort in dogs or can be a symptom of certain endocrine diseases. I would recommend having her seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible. In this case, it is very hard to say for certain what is going on with Mya without examining her first. A veterinary exam would be a good place to start so she can be evaluated head to tail. Your veterinarian may recommend blood work and/or x-rays be run on Mya as well to help determine a diagnosis. I hope this helps and thanks again for posting!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. A high resp rate may be related to heat, anxiety, or excitement. Of course there are other, worrisome things that it could be too, including heart disease, pneumonia. or other infection. However, theses dogs usually are not playful and excited for exercise. Same for the picky eating- it could be totally normal for him or it could be a sign of infection or other problem. Long story short, if you’re worried about Xerxes checked out by a vet just to make sure we’re not missing something important. Best wishes to you and Xerxes!

It sounds as Rocco is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

I am concerned that he has vomited so many times. I would recommend taking him to a veterinarian. He could have eaten something that upset his stomach, have a foreign body obstruction or could have a case of pancreatitis. Your veterinarian can perform radiographs/blood work to rule in or out these issues. They also can give medication to help with the vomiting.
