Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 28 lbs

I need help with my pitbull dog! Pooping bloody, vomiting, lazy, rougher breathing pattern when sleeping, almost seizure like symptoms when she is asleep (confused with this-might just be her dreaming). She will still semi eat food with no big problems and is always ready to drink water. Day 1- just vomit normal diarrhea Day 2 fasted 12 hr still light vomit Day 3 no vomit but lots bloody diarrhea Day 4 no signs of bloody poop nor vomit, still lazy& impaired breathing when asleep&seizure symptoms

Unfortunately there's not a lot of advice I can give you other than to take Savage in to see her vet ASAP. After 4 days of being abnormal, I don't think this is something that is just going to pass, and if she is in fact having seizures you are risking her life by not seeking care. You've described several very concerning signs - breathing difficulties, seizures, bloody diarrhea, and vomiting- and she needs to be seen and have some diagnostics - blood work, possibly x-rays, and a good physical exam - to try to figure out what is going on and how to help her.
