My Yorkie threw up blood and won't eat. Is it an emergency vet visit?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 5 lbs

Small yorkie won't eat all day just threw up blood. Worried if I wait till am to take her in it will be too late just threw up once got her to lick some chicken broth and very small pea size amount of wet food

I would have Bentley seen by a vet immediately. It's quite serious that she threw up blood, and that could be caused by eating something toxic, a foreign body, trauma to the GI tract, or GI ulcers among other causes. I see you live in Dickinson, Tesxa. There is the Animal Emerency Clinic Southeast-Calder Rd that is located just over five miles from your town. I would take Bentley into there immediately, their phone number is 800-356-3692. I hope she is ok!
