My female dog has foul vaginal discharge, swelling, and drinks lots.

I see that Princess Marie isn't spayed. With the discharge you are mentioning, I'd be very concerned she has a pyometra. A pyometra is an infection of the uterus that is fatal without treatment. She needs to see a vet immediately. Please take her into one now.

It would cause a purulent discharge from the vagina (the white discharge) as well as pain. This is a medical emergency if she has one, as if it's not treated, she will die. Because I can't see her to rule out a pyometra, she needs to see a vet now. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

Some discharge is normal but it is generally clearish or slightly opaque. Vaginal discharge can indicate an infection in the uterus. It is hard to say for sure what is going on, but she could have a urinary tract infection or an infection inside her uterus. I am more concerned about the infection in her uterus and if that is the case, she needs immediate medical attention. The vet will likely need to check blood work and maybe take radiographs.
