My 1-year-old dog is underweight and has hard stool. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed

Hello i have a 12 month old Gator Blue Nose Pit bull and she eats food i thought maybe she needs more so i started filling up her bowl and letting her eat on her own. She still has not gained any weight i can see her ribs and spine. Her stool is hard i keep changing foods. I see her siblings and they are all big dogs and they are the same age. Please Help Me!!

I'm sorry to hear Sarabi is having issues. If her weight is a concern, there are multiple reasons that she could not be gaining weight, such as intestinal parasites, a malabsorption issue, or an underlying health issue. I would recommend taking Sarabi to her regular veterinarian to have her evaluated, have any testing done and get advice on a good quality food to start her on.
