Why is my puppy tired, whining, and rubbing ears after a cold night?

I recommend that you have Bear evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Your veterinarian would be able to check what type of infection is present and treat accordingly. If this is the case and his presumed ear infection responds to the ear drops then the expectation is that these signs you describe will improve. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If Marley is crying when being touched, is that lethargic and is not eating well that is not normal with an ear infection. I would have her seen by your Vet today. I would want to see if she is painful in her neck, back or joints, if she has a fever or Lyme disease and I would worry if she is not spayed if she has an infected uterus. If this behavior is out of the ordinary for Cooper, perhaps he is acting this way because he is uncomfortable, in mild pain, or in an area that is unfamiliar to him. He may also be experiencing a greater stress level for one reason or another, causing him to act abnormally. It sounds like this hasn't been going on long. Since Cooper is stable and not showing any overt signs of clinical illness, with it being Easter, I would just closely monitor him at home for any signs of worsening in anyway. Should this be the case, get him into an emergency veterinarian. For the time being, simply monitor at home for normal appetite, thirst, gastrointestinal health, and any signs of sickness (coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea). Schedule an appointment to see your regular veterinarian if the symptoms continue to be a bother.

If Jackie is still uncomfortable, I recommend calling back the veterinarian that treated him to discuss. Be sure not to give medications more frequently than prescribed, if two dose given less than 4 hours apart that may be too frequent. Some pain medications may cause restlessness, so it's important to discuss with his veterinarian to rule out other illness or medication side effect. I hope Jackie is better soon.

Without having an examination it's hard to determine why Darby may be acting this way. Because Darby is younger I feel it's important to have her checked out by a veterinarian within the next few weeks to see if there is a medical issue. You may also want to record the behavior to show to your veterinarian during the appointment.
