My dog threw up yellow lumps and has diarrhea. Should I worry?

I would seek out veterinary attention. It is hard to say what could ve wrong, but with small dogs, being sick like this for any length of time can be dangerous. They dont have much (in terms of body weight and resources) to sustain them. If they get sick, they get dehydrated very quickly and it can turn dangerous quickly. Best to have a vet look at them and figure out what is going on.

He could have an infection or a parasite causing the vomiting and diarrhea. He should be examined by a vet for treatment. Your vet can test a fecal sample to determine if he has a parasite and then prescribe medications to help treat the problem.

If your pet has vomited this much in the past 45 minutes I would be very suspicious of a foreign body or a very intense dietary indiscretion (eating something he shouldn't have). I would recommend you start supportive care (like Famotiidne 05-1.0mg/kg every 12 hrs and a bland diet like Purina EN Gastrointestinal canned food OR boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese. It sounds as Dexter is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Are you missing something or know of an object he ate? Either way, he should see his veterinarian.
