My dog is thirsty, losing weight, and has a new bump. What's wrong?

I would have Lacey seen by another vet as soon as possible to have bloods done to check for diabetes. Symptoms of diabetes do include weight loss and excessive drinking, and it's certainly not normal that she is losing a lot of time. Lacey needs to see another vet for a second opinion.

If a patient is drinking more and losing weight I would be concerned about endocrine diseases like diabetes and cushings disease. However the picture looks more like possible skin mites or an underlying autoimmune disease I would recommend taking her to a veterinarian to help you resolve the issues. They most likely will need to run basic bloodwork and possible a skin scrape to determine if mites are present.

This could be due to an allergic reaction to something he ate, maybe a new food , a treat or just something he snapped from the floor on the street. if it is bad you should take him to the vet to get it treated with allergy meds and possibly diarrhea meds as well.

You need to take her back to the vet ASAP in order to get this checked, first the vet will need to do a blood test to try and find out what is causing those symptoms, the lump will need to be checked and analyzed as well.
