My dog has small bumps, diarrhea, and is tired. What's wrong?

That doesn't appear to be a tick. It looks like it could be a tiny mass on or under the skin. Keep an eye on it for any rapid change or growth, redness or discomfort. Continue to offer food in small, frequent amounts. Mix in the pumpkin (NOT pie filling) as you've been doing. As long as he is behaving normally and the stool is firming up, you can monitor him at home. If the diarrhea persists or the bump changes then have him seen by your veterinarian.

I recommend getting him in to see your vet as soon as possible about the loss of appetite and diarrhea. Puppies that young can dehydrate easily and their blood sugar can drop quickly to life-threatening levels. The diarrhea could be caused by parasites, a bacterial or viral infection, or possibly swallowing something he shouldn't have, irritating the GI tract or, more seriously, getting stuck and causing an obstruction. The skin I'm less worried about, though that can be addressed at the same visit. Many puppies develop what is called puppy pyoderma, which is roughly equivalent to acne in humans. Most outgrow it and it rarely gets bad enough to require medication, but sometimes antibiotics and therapeutic bathing is needed to help them heal more quickly.

This could be a sign of an allergic reaction. If she has not returned to normal I recommend Daisy get checked out by her veterinarian. Sometimes allergic reaction's require steroids other times antihistamines. If her diarrhea was a lot she could have mild dehydration as well.

From your description, it sounds as though Muffin has a bacterial skin infection and the bumps you are seeing are pustules. If he is lethargic and having diarrhea in addition to the pustules on the skin, I would recommend taking him in to be seen by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. Hello! Those lesions could be caused by an infection like bacteria or even fungus as well as allergies. Usually though mild infections and allergies don't cause dogs to be depressed/act abnormally. If his behavior continues, he has any vomiting, or his food/water intake goes down further I recommend having your veterinarian do an exam as those changes could be caused by something more serious, like liver issues, anemia, an infection or even cancer.

Poor guy. The hard lump is hard to say what it is without a photo. It could be a condition called folliculitis or even a pustule (infected pocket). However, with bloody diarrhea, I would highly recommend taking Merlo in to your vet to get him examined and stool tested. Lots of things can cause loose bloody stool including: parvovirus infection, pancreatitis (usually causes vomiting as well and decreased appetite), stress colitis, etc. Once Merlo is examined, the vet will likely put him on a short course of antibiotics and probiotics at the very least for the loose stool. The hard lump will have to be examined first to determine what, if anything, needs to be done for this as well. I hope that your furry friend Merlo gets these issues resolved soon! It is possible something occurred while you were gone to cause the lump. The only way to know for sure is to have her examined by your vet and the lump needs to be aspirated (drained). The lump could be a detona, mass or even an abscess. An abscess can cause pets to have a low grade fever, lack of appetite, and moodiness. It's best to get this treated quickly with your vet and get her on a short course of antibiotics if an abscess is confirmed.
