No, I would not give these pain medications to Dexter. Many human pain medications are toxic to dogs, and can be fatal if given. Paracetamol is toxic to dogs in large enough doses. I recommend resting Dexter until he sees the vet on Monday. No running, jumping, or playing. Take him out to toilet on a lead only, and bring him right back in when he's done.

I do not recommend using paracetamol without a veterinary evaluation. There are other arthritis supplements that you can start which would not hurt if this happens to not be due to arthritis and if it is, they can help a good amount. There are several joint supplements out there such as Cosequin and Dasuquin, among others. Poor Maka. I would not recommend to give any Tylenol, ibuprofen (Advil), or naproxen (Aleve) or human prescribe meds as most of these are toxic to dogs. You can give him 1/2 tablet of baby aspirin twice a day but I would not continue this long term because it can cause an upset tummy. As soon as you’re able to talk to your vet, I would talk to him about giving something that is more appropriate for dogs. Your vet should be able prescribe him something. I hope this helps!
