My dog's tail hurts and won't move. Did I accidentally injure it?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female

My dog has a pain in the tail.she is not able to move it and finds it difficult to sit.she is not able to raise her tail.what could have happened to her.will an accidental stamping of tail by me could have caused it.pls suggest

It is possible that she has a fracture, which is causing pain and difficulty moving her tail and sitting. An x-ray at the vet can confirm or rule out this injury. A tail and a shoe in the wrong places at the wrong times could certainly have caused it.
