My puppy swallowed vape liquid and is vomiting. Is it toxic?

You are correct that vape pens are dangerous to dogs due to the chemicals in it such as nicotine. Nicotine is absorbed quickly and can be extremely toxic, even in small doses. The most common symptoms of poisoning in dogs are drooling, puking, diarrhea, lethargy, and seizures. If you see any of those signs in Dexter, take him into a vet immediately. If she ingested 16 mg of nicotine, that would potentially be below what we would consider toxic, but every dog is different. If Hollie develops any agitation, vomiting, drooling, or any other abnormal clinical signs, please seek emergency veterinary care immediately. Good luck! I estimate that it would be enough chocolate to cause a mild to moderate reaction. Signs of a mild reaction is hyperactivity. Further signs of toxicity can be vomiting, tremors and seizures. If you notice any of these signs, then it's best to take Toby to a vet for treatment/monitoring, because chocolate toxicity can be deadly. Nicotine toxicity will have similar signs and again it's best to take him to a vet if there is any concern. Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done at home for this. It's best to make sure he has plenty of water and that you check him every two hours for any signs of toxicity. Unfortunately even one cigarette butt is poisonous enough to cause serious toxicity in a small puppy. If you have not inspected the vomitus of your puppy and found the butt in it then it did not come out and you need to take your puppy to a pet ER or a vet for an exam. Signs of nicotine poisoning occur within an hour of ingestion and include tremors, drooling, hallucinations, constricted pupils, vomiting, diarrhea, seizures, increased heart rate and high blood pressure.

It can be very dangerous given her weight and age. I suggest to bring her to your local vet for a full health check (heart rate, breathing rate, temperature need to be monitored) asap.
