My dog had surgery to remove a retained testicle nearly 2 & half weeks ago and now a thick brown puss is coming from the wound. He is panting excessively and has a runny nose. he is still drinking and eating and going out to the toilet. I can tell he is in pain. Can this wait until morning to contact a vet or should I find somewhere to see him tonight?

Hi there. I agree that the tissue around the incision looks a bit red and swollen, and there does seem to be some yellow or greenish discharge present as well. These are often signs of an infection, so I would recommend taking him back in to your vet for a recheck. He may need to be put on antibiotics while he's healing to treat the infection.
